A Warm Welcome

Welcome to Ladies Of Charity Morgan Hill, a charitable organization focused on serving rather than being served. We are the Northern California Chapter of The Ladies of Charity USA (LCUSA). Founded with a Vincentian spirit, the organization emphasizes daily prayer and personal service to the poor, encouraging members to offer their time and devotion to those in need. The organization has a rich history, dating back to its foundation, where it has consistently aimed to respond to the needs of marginalized communities.

About Us

Our Misson

The Mission of the Ladies of Charity is to experience Jesus Christ in the service of those who are poor. This implies that we are compelled by the love of Christ in all our relationships. We love and serve in a spirit of Humility, Simplicity, and Charity.

Our History

FOUNDED BY ST. VINCENT DE PAUL, patron of all charity, the Ladies of Charity responded to the needs of the poor in seventeenth century France. Together with St. Louise de Mariliac, they went quietly about their tasks, seeking no recognition, satisfied with the knowledge that they were serving Christ in the person of the poor.

The Ladies of Charity, USA (LCUSA) was founded in St. Louis in 1857 by Catherine Harkins. since their origin, have possessed the charism of their founder, daily prayer and personal service to the poor.  In the Unites States, 6400 Ladies serve in 68 associations in 21 states and the District of  Columbia.
The Morgan Hill chapter was established in 2009 and has over 31 active members serving the community of the South San Francisco Bay.

Our Team

Our Board is made up of members of St. Catherine's of Morgan Hill and St. Mary's of Gilroy parishioners. We serve the entire South Santa Clara County Area.
